Social Dance
The Social Dance Club of SCCL meets in the Lakehouse Ballrooms from 7:00 PM to 9:00PM usually on the second Tuesday of the month. DJ Dixie plays the music for us most months. Many different types of social dances are done each month - swing, country, shag, waltz, cha cha, rhumba, line dances, Texas Two Step, Hustle. All members are invited to attend all dances, with either live music groups, or DJ Dixie during the year. Dance admission is $10 per couple. First time attendees admission is free. Lessons are offered on Monday afternoons from 3 to 5 at the Lakehouse with our professional instructor, Terri Beeson. Different lessons are offered each month, both beginner and advanced.
