Are you ready for some good old rock and roll fun? Then join The Sock Hop Dance Club and swing away to Elvis, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and other greats. This is what we call epic fun! Got any 50s, 60s or similar attire in your closet? Great! Wear it to the Sock Hop dance.
The Sock Hop Dance Club is a very active, exciting place for people who love to dance and have fun!
To start you off on the right foot (yeah, pun), we offer lessons in Jitterbug, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, Night Club 2-Step and Hustle.

- Single lady with no partner? No problem! We'll teach you how to lead other single ladies
- Don't swing dance at all? Join our beginner track and learn how
- Already a swing dancer? Join our accelerated track and elevate your dancing
- Out of excuses? Great, put your dancing shoes on and join us!

Dance Lessons
Our free dance lessons will begin on March 11, 2024 in Room 1 at the Lodge.
- 1:00 PM - Beginner lessons
- 2:00 PM - Intermediate lessons (requires knowledge of the basics)
In March we will be teaching Jitterbug; a fun, single-step swing dance that is easy to learn. So come out and join us for a bit of fun. Our lessons are geared to take you from beginner to advanced level dancing. Note: Space is limited.

Join us at the Sock Hop Dance party for a rockin' good time as we dance, swing, rave (or whatever you do) to good ol' Rock and Roll music. It's not just a dance; it's an experience! Come prepared to party and have a blast with a few crazy friends.
DJ Joe King will be spinning hits from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Little Richard, Elvis, Chuck Berry and other Rock 'n' Roll greats.

Time to break out your Go-Go boots, bell bottoms, and tie-dyed attire stashed in the back of your closet (yes, we know they're there) because we're going back to the groovy 60's! Let the flower-power set your inner hippie free. Come on down to the Sock Hop Diner (aka. The Lake House) and get your groove on. Far out man! |
