Pilots and Spectators welcome!
You will have the chance to try flying a drone, even if you have never done so.
Drones
- Weight: must be less than .55 lbs
- Must have propeller guards
- May be controlled by a phone APP, Hand held controller, or gesture controller.
- WiFi drone connection must have a unique name identifying the pilot.
Free Flights
- We recommend no more than 5 drones in flight at any given time (This helps avoid loss of WIFI control.)
- There will be time for free flying and practice
Competition
- Each pilot will be assigned to either tje Green Team or the Blue Team.
- Each pilot will fly 2 flights thru a gated course; the best time will be counted.
- Each pilot will be flying as an individual and to represent their team.
- At the end of 3 months, the winning team and individual pilot will be awarded a trophy.
