Presented by Hal Hiott, Director,  Lancaster County Parks and Recreation

How is Lancaster County addressing the need for quality recreational facilities and leisure activities for youth and adults in the midst of its exploding population boom? Parks and Recreation director Hal Hiott will report on renovations at the Indian Land Recreational Center, future improvements at Walnut Creek Park and updates on the Harrisburg soccer complex currently under construction. He will also share some news news about the 84 acre regional sports ark planned in the area of US 521 and SC 5. Bring your questions and suggestions for recreational needs in Lancaster County.

Hal Hiott is from Lancaster, SC, and graduated from Winthrop College in 1985 with a degree in Physical Education. He is responsible for managing supervising and directing all aspects of the recreation department's operations.
