Sun City resident Christina Cassidy had a dream. And through hard work and persistence she made her dream become a reality. She created an award-winning feature length documentary film about two brothers who grew up in her home town in Florida to become world class musicians in two different premier symphony orchestras, The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. One brother played violin and the other played cello. Their story traces how a troubled family history propels the two brothers to phenomenal success, in spite of, or perhaps because of their difficult beginning. Her entire film, titled Concerto, will be presented at Lifelong Learning on October 26, with commentary by Cristina. The film lasts 1 hour, 10 minutes.
