Successful Friends of the Library Annual Meeting 2023

Dr. April Williams is the Director of Lancaster County Libraries in South Carolina.

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alabama.

April recently obtained her Doctorate of Christian Leadership from New Covenant University.

April joined the library in 2013 as a Circulation Assistant, became the Manager at the Main location in 2016, and has been the Director since February 2022.

She is a speaker and author, who is passionate about the library.
